That's a shame, and with lacking any official translations spoiler[and the *ahem* unofficial ones are lagging quite a bit, to say the least, still around at when the anime ended], I can't judge whether it ends on a high note. And here's hoping for a 2nd season at some point, it was a delight of a show, with great execution.
